Khaberni - As autumn enters, the wind blows scattering the yellow leaves from all the branches, each a message signed by time telling humanity that as long as you are alive, you are on your path to fall just as the leaves do.
The leaves in autumn remind us of the cycle of life: vibrant green in the spring, mature and giving in the summer, then they wither and fall in autumn, and come winter, they are covered by the earth, preparing for the rebirth of new life in another new spring. Thus is the condition of mankind—childhood like spring, youth like summer, old age like autumn, and death resembling winter followed by resurrection and judgment on the Day of Resurrection.
The sight of falling leaves is a profound reminder; they teach us that no matter how life blooms, it is to an end, that no matter how long life extends, it is short. The Almighty said, "Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting among you and rivalry in wealth and children—like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval, and what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion" (Quran).
When leaves wither, they do not turn green again and similarly, when a person's time ends, they do not return to this world to compensate for what was missed, but move on to the Hereafter where there are rewards and accounts.
Let the fall of the leaves be a lesson to us before we fall into our graves, and let the changing colors of the leaves be a reminder that hearts do change, thus whoever Allah guides and keeps steadfast in faith succeeds, and whoever neglects, perishes.
Finally, you who contemplate the autumn leaves, let them be a mirror for your heart, and remember that you are transient and that beyond this life there is an eternal spring for the people of Paradise or an unending autumn for the people of Hell. So, work diligently before the leaves fall and the records are folded up.
