Khaberni - The Eastern Military Area thwarted an attempt early this Wednesday morning in front of its area and within its responsibility zone to smuggle a quantity of narcotics loaded by balloons guided by rudimentary devices. The balloons and their cargo were dealt with and brought down inside Jordanian territory after being spotted by the Border Guard forces in coordination with the security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, and the confiscated items were transferred to the relevant authorities for further proceedings.
