Khaberni - In a bizarre event, a group of Britons celebrated a bachelor party on a flight from London to Alicante, Spain.
A video, which was circulated on social media, showed scenes from inside a plane heading to Alicante that had to divert its course to Toulouse.
Upon the plane's landing, officers stormed the aircraft and got into a fierce fight with a group of Britons, according to the British "Daily Mail".
The story began when the plane took off, as the group members started drinking alcohol they had brought with them, and used inappropriate and offensive language.
One of the passengers moved from his seat to sit near his girlfriend, then tried to hug and kiss another female passenger, but the crew quickly moved him back to his original seat.
Another passenger tried to harass one of the female passengers before the crew intervened and returned him to his place. However, the groom made a clear effort to distance himself from the troublemakers and did not engage in the rest of the group’s behavior.
At one moment, two members of the group fought visibly and bumped heads, tearing one man's shirt while others tried to separate them.
The video also showed some members of the group spitting on the seats and putting their feet on the headrests of passengers' seats; one woman even got kicked in the head by someone resting his legs on her seat.
Although the plane's crew and other passengers tried to calm the group, it did not stop the chaos, leading the pilot to announce an emergency landing in Toulouse, France.
Upon landing, the French police were called to the aircraft and started arresting the unruly group.
Ryanair confirmed in an official statement that the flight, which left London on September 26, was forced to land after unruly behavior by a small group of passengers and stated that the French police are now conducting further investigations.
