Khaberni - Kuwaiti media personality Halima Poland clarified her position regarding the video that circulated on social media, in which artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz appeared as if he ignored shaking her hand during the Arab Satellite Channels Festival events.
Poland stated in her remarks that the Egyptian star did not intend to ignore her, and perhaps he did not notice her extended hand while he was leaving quickly after their conversation, noting that she handled the situation with a smile and appreciation.
She added, "I am one of the fans of Egyptian art, and I hold all gratitude to the Egyptian audience for what I have achieved."
The media personality also expressed her happiness at receiving the Excellence Award as the best media personality and influencer on social platforms in the Gulf region, during the current session of the festival, considering that the recognition holds special value for her.
The video clip had sparked widespread interaction among followers, where some believed that the artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz deliberately avoided shaking her hand, while others thought that he did not notice her hand while leaving the hall quickly.
