Khaberni - A report by the English newspaper "The Athletic" reveals significant economic and historical disparities preceding the anticipated match between Real Madrid and Kazakhstani Kairat in the Champions League, which could be "the greatest disparity in history" in the European tournament.

Huge historical and economic disparities:

Market value: The report clarifies that the total market value of the current Real Madrid lineup is estimated at about 1.4 billion euros, an amount equivalent to 2.7% of the entire GDP of Kazakhstan when it declared its independence in 1991 (after inflation adjustment).
Kairat's value: On the other hand, the market value of Kairat’s entire team is estimated at only about 13 million euros, a value less than half the annual salary of French star Kylian Mbappe at the "royal" club.
Titles record: Real Madrid has a record of 133 titles in its portfolio, including a record 15 Champions League titles, while Kairat has a total of 19 titles in its record.

Record transactions: Real Madrid's record transaction (paid for Eden Hazard) was about 100 million euros plus bonuses, while Kairat's highest transaction was one million euros for signing Polish midfielder Jacek Góralski.

Fan impact: The report points out that some individual posts by Real Madrid stars on "Instagram" receive more likes than the total followers of Kairat, which number about 400 thousand followers.
The Kazakhstani club is scheduled to host Real Madrid tomorrow Tuesday in the second round of the league stage of the European tournament.
