Khaberni - The American news site Axios reports that aides to the U.S. President say Trump may turn against Netanyahu if the latter rejects the new plan to end the war in Gaza.
The report indicates that support for Israel has dropped to unprecedented levels, including within the White House.
The report considers the peace process in Gaza as a test of Trump's credibility.
According to the report, everything Trump wants to achieve in the Middle East will be undermined if he cannot persuade Netanyahu to end the war.
Patience has run out
The report also refers to the dwindling patience of the U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law and former senior advisor, with Netanyahu.
It states that Witkoff dealt with Israel and Kushner with Arab countries, but both have reached a point of despair with Israel.
The report added: When Netanyahu sent missiles to Qatar, it unified the Gulf into a bloc speaking with one voice, thereby rallying efforts.
