Khaberni - Rescue workers in Taiwan, on Monday, found a man's body in Dongfu village, Hualien County, raising the confirmed death toll for the devastating "Ragasa" typhoon to 18, according to the Central Emergency Operations Center.

The Central News Agency (CNA) of Taiwan reported on Monday that there are still seven people missing, while 107 others were injured across the country.

Soldiers found the man’s body during search operations along the coast near Kaliutong area, about seven kilometers from Fuzhou Street where the floods occurred in Guangfu.


It is one of the most affected areas, following heavy rainfall and the flooding of the "Matayan Creek" barrier lake, which caused massive floods last week, and authorities mentioned that the body was highly decomposed, and could not be immediately identified.
