Khaberni - Last Sunday evening, Jordanian tennis player, Abdullah Shelbayah, was crowned the champion of the 75-point Las Vegas Challenger Tournament, after defeating American player Alex Rybakov in two straight sets.
This is the second title in Shelbayah' career at the Challenger level, which is organized under the supervision of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and is considered the second tier after the ATP Tour events. It is designed to help players improve their global rankings and advance to major tournaments.
Abdullah Shelbayah is expected to move up to 302nd place in the ATP rankings, advancing 135 places from his previous ranking.
