After being sentenced to prison Mohamed Ramadan promotes his new song with his son

Khaberni -Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan promoted his new song "The Boy Takes After His Dad", featuring his son, just days after a judicial ruling sentenced the son to one year in prison, suspended, in an incident that sparked widespread controversy over the past months.

Ramadan posted a video on his official Instagram account where he appeared alongside his son, commenting: "The boy takes after his dad, God willing, on Wednesday at 4 PM Egypt time... Confidence in God is success".

Details of the incident
The promotion of the song follows the issuance of a ruling by the Juvenile Misdemeanor Court to imprison the artist's son for one year, with suspension, on charges of assaulting another child inside "New Giza" sports club, an incident that occurred in September of the last year.

The mother of the victimized child had filed an official report, accusing Ramadan's son of assaulting her son, causing him injuries and bruises documented by medical reports submitted during the investigations.

According to the mother's account, she received a call about the incident, and when she arrived at the club, the artist's son had already left the place with his escorts, prompting her to file a report about the incident.

Reconciliation between the families
During the trial session held last May, Mohamed Ramadan attended with his son, and the defense team presented an official memorandum proving the reconciliation between the two parties, which was confirmed by the child's family in court.

In June, the Egyptian artist posted pictures on his accounts with the child's family, announcing that the dispute had ended, saying: "All that passed was rumors... Ali and Omar are brothers... Reconciliation took place in a familial atmosphere".

Despite the declaration of reconciliation, the court sentenced Ramadan's son to suspended imprisonment, in addition to temporarily placing him in a social care home, as part of the legal proceedings followed in juvenile cases.
