Return of Royal Jordanian Air Force Planes After Participating in Extinguishing Wildfires in Syria

Khaberni -The Royal Jordanian Air Force "Black Hawk" planes have returned home after completing their active participation in extinguishing fires that broke out in several regions of Syrian territories, following ten continuous days of fieldwork and intense aerial sorties.

The participation came under royal directives, and as an immediate response to the widespread fires in Syria caused by rising temperatures and the explosion of war remnants, where Jordanian aircraft contributed in executing a series of precise aerial sorties to extinguish fires in rugged areas with difficult terrain for ground teams to access, coordinating with Jordanian and Syrian civil defense teams, which helped contain the fires and save lives, properties, and limit their spread towards villages and residential areas.

The relevant authorities in Syria expressed their great thanks and appreciation for Jordan's efforts, praising the high efficiency demonstrated by the Jordanian crews during their missions, and the advanced expertise possessed by the Royal Jordanian Air Force in dealing with such emergency situations.

This noble mission embodies the humanitarian role undertaken by the Jordanian Armed Forces, and their constant commitment to perform their humanitarian and fraternal duties with efficiency and proficiency, in line with the visions of the Hashemite leadership aimed at supporting brethren and providing aid and assistance during times of crises and disasters.

It is worth noting that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is considered a regional leader in providing humanitarian and relief aid, and continues its support for brotherly and friendly countries facing natural disasters or humanitarian crises.
