Khaberni -Bassem Naim, a member of the Political Bureau of Hamas, confirmed on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation wants to continue "military control for a long time" in the Gaza Strip.
Naim said that "the occupation has not yet delivered any new modified maps regarding military withdrawals from the sector, and what is announced about delivering new maps is not true" during the ongoing ceasefire negotiations in Doha.
He explained that "what is happening on the ground confirms the intentions of the occupation and its plans to keep and continue the military control for a long time inside the Gaza Strip and not to stop the war."
