Khaberni -The Public Institution for Social Security has announced the allocation of (239) total and partial natural permanent disability salaries during the first half of the current year 2025, bringing the cumulative number to (28531) salaries as of 30/6/2025.
The institution explained in a statement issued by its media center that the eligibility conditions for the salary of permanent total or partial natural disability are the end of the insured's service, that the insured submits a request for the allocation of the disability salary within a period not exceeding six months from the date of service termination, that his actual subscriptions are not less than (60) with (24) continuous subscriptions, and the proof of disability state by a decision of the medical committees in the institution.
The institution also stated that the insured may apply to the institution to examine him while he is at work to determine whether he meets the condition of permanent natural total disability, and this can be done only twice during his coverage period under the law provided that his number of subscriptions exceeds (60), including (24) consecutive ones.
It added that the medical reference in the institution is the competent authority to issue the recommendation to the competent reference for terminating the services of public employees covered by the law after their referral from the supreme governmental medical committee for the purpose of qualifying for the salary of permanent total or partial natural disability.
