Instalment of Debts for Companies Benefiting from the Hafiz Program

Khaberni -In relation to the measures associated with supporting economic activities and alleviating their burdens, the Cabinet, in its session held today, Wednesday, presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, approved the scheduling of debts of companies benefiting from the temporary job support program in the digital and entrepreneurial sector "Hafiz", including the differences in monthly subscriptions and late penalties retroactively for the year 2023 for a duration of 5 years, with monthly installments for 60 months, starting from the month following the date of the installment agreement organization with the Social Security Corporation.

This decision allows the continuation of the "Hafiz" program wherein the government has borne an amount of one million and nine hundred thousand dinars due to the Social Security as compensation for differences in the subscriptions of employees on this program that were not paid, aiming to preserve the allocations of social security funds and their rights on one hand, and ensuring the continuity of work in the program on the other hand.

The continuity of the program allows for the appointment of about 600 young men and women in the information technology sector in comprehensive government service centers, as well as in companies that need help or technicians in the information technology field, capable of attracting them from 6 months to a year, and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, through the program's allocations, covers up to 50% of the monthly salary of the new employee, whether in the public or private sector.

The program aligns with the objectives of the Economic Modernization Vision, which targets the digitization of government services, the development of digital skills, the improvement of the business environment, and the development of an enabling environment for the growth of the private sector.
