Payment Transactions totaling 75 billion dinars via E Fawateerkom since the start of 2025

Khaberni -The total number of transactions executed through the "E Fawateerkom" system since the beginning of 2025 has reached approximately 35.51 million transactions, with a total value amounting to 7.5 billion Jordanian dinars, according to the report issued by the Jordan Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPACC).

According to the JoPACC report for June, the number of users of "E Fawateerkom" increased over the past three months, where the number of users in June reached 4.76 million, an increase of "0.8%", compared to 4.73 million users in May, and 4.68 million users in April.

The report added that the total number of users reached 4.76 million, including 4.73 million current users at "99.2%", and 38.7 thousand new users at "0.8%".

It also mentioned that the number of billers through the system reached 630 billers, while the number of services available was 2156 services.

During June, 6.13 million transactions were recorded, witnessing an increase of "6.3%" compared to the previous month, against 5.76 million transactions in May, and 6.54 million transactions in April, according to the report.

The telecommunications category topped the list of transactions with 2.14 million transactions, followed by the water and electricity category with 1.8 million transactions, then government services with 1.01 million transactions, wallet companies and payment service providers with 544 thousand transactions, financing and financial services with 307 thousand transactions, education with 94 thousand transactions, transport and travel with 54 thousand transactions, commerce and services with 34 thousand transactions, unions and organizations with 33 thousand transactions, and finally gas and energy with 29 thousand transactions.

The report showed that digital payments accounted for the largest share of the number of transactions during June, amounting to 5.11 million transactions at "83.4%", versus 1.02 million cash transactions at "16.6%".

In terms of value, the total value of transactions during June reached 1.13 billion dinars, recording a slight decrease of "0.2%" from May, which saw the same value, while the value of transactions in April was 1.57 billion dinars.

Government services led the transactions through "E Fawateerkom" in terms of value during June, reaching 668 million dinars, followed by wallet companies and payment service providers with 235 million dinars, then water and electricity with 70 million dinars, financing and financial services with 43 million dinars, telecommunications with 34 million dinars, education with 24 million dinars, banks with 16 million dinars, gas and energy with 13 million dinars, commerce and services with 13 million dinars, and finally transport and travel with 5 million dinars.

Regarding the payment method, the value of digital payments during June was 905.5 million dinars at "80.2%", compared to 224.1 million dinars for cash payments at "19.8%".

The average value of a single transaction through "E Fawateerkom" decreased to 184 dinars in June, compared to 196 dinars in May, and 240 dinars in April.
