Sheikh Talal Saitan AlMadi A Jordanian cloak devoted to supporting the oppressed and relieving the distressed
الكاتب: د. فايز ابو قاعود

Khaberni -It is not easy to write about a tribal figure with an influential political cloak, such as Sheikh Talal Saitan Al-Madi, who inherited leadership from one generation to the next, where there are many varied and rich milestones. A significant figure in Jordanian political and tribal arena for more than a decade, politicians and media still focus on his gestures and statements... as his words and positions usually lead the way.

Sheikh Talal Saitan Al-Madi, one of the towering Jordanian Arab figures known for his generosity and kindness, and for resolving conflicts. A star that shone in the Jordanian sky, raised on its authentic Jordanian values, his light spread across the entire nation with love, appreciation, and respect, characterized by patience, forbearance, and wisdom, emanating authenticity, surrounded by the scent of the desert, driven by the chivalry and gallantry of the Bedouins.

Sheikh Talal Al-Madi is not just a sheikh from the Issa tribe, nor a sheikh from the northern tribes. He is one of the sheikhs of Jordan.. resolving conflicts and restraining evil, and mending spirits.

Abu Hashem, always heads the councils of reconciliation and other issues requiring an experienced, humble personality who cares for justice manifested in his fragrant character full of qualities and traits that have made him an intellectual by his thoughts, a sheikh by his morals, a judge by his justice and wisdom, a symbol by his humility, and loving towards people. He remains one of the towering national figures to whom the state turns to find solutions for any complex problem, as he is a man whose requests are never denied, and whose words are never broken, and whose fire never extinguishes.
A beacon among the nation's beacons. A genuine Bedouin, who knew every village, countryside, and city of Jordan as a social reformer whose personal circumstances did not deter him from continuing day and night to mend spirits and reconcile differences.
From him, wisdom and experience are drawn, speaking of beautiful past events and heroic memories; if you sit with him, he quickly talks about the days of good old times, as if he hopes those days had stopped so that we could continue racing camels in the fields of horsemanship, dreaming our beautiful dreams, listening to the stories and tales of fathers, grandmothers, mothers, aunts, and the shepherds in the pastures, as well as the stories of invasions and wars.
Abu Hashem, a national leader, loved the land and the people, all people of different backgrounds, and he still remains a symbol of the national commitment cherished by Jordanians: that this homeland remains an oasis of security and peace. Standing strong in the face of challenges, however numerous.
Abu Hashem is an Arab leader, bred on the Jordanian constant that we are part of the Arab nation, thus conserving that heritage faithfully, in a homeland that inherited the modern Arab renaissance project and became the focal point of the noble Arab revolution. A homeland that loves the nation and opens its heart to all its children when calamities strike, providing them with a warm embrace dividing the morsel even if small. And the North Badia, the pure, honest Arab incubator, Sheikh Talal was one of its cherished symbols, responding to valor without shirking duty or hesitating in responsibility.
Sheikh Talal Al-Madi, a Jordanian Bedouin, whose forehead was kissed by the Jordanian sun, regarded as a citizen, a sheikh, and a trusted one, having some experience with the nature of men. Good-natured, mild-hearted, forgiving even if potent. Pure of conscience, clear of heart, participating in the dialogue with responsibility and awareness, loves and is loved, tends toward silence, but it is the silence of a deep river, absorbing the roar of its streams. A silence that hears all opinions, examines all options, and calmly presents his candid opinion.
This Jordanian is in love without any isolation or regionalism. And could a Jordanian ever be regional or isolate himself on nationalist grounds? He practices his Arab identity realistically without posturing, and commits to unity without exploitation. He stands with every Arab land afflicted by injustice and aggression without caring about the cost, however high. He rejoices in every Arab victory and creates with all the people a community of love.
This Jordanian Arab Palestinian to the core without flashy banners lacking content, and without populism without substance.
He is an exceptional personality with presence, role, and impact in the modern political and tribal history of Jordan, active, influential, and engaged whether by agreement or disagreement, but always with chivalry and nobility and the ethics of a tribal sheikh..
