Khaberni -Reactions continued to the birthday party of Yamal Amin, the star of Barcelona, after the Spanish Ministry of Social Rights requested the Public Prosecutor and the Hate Crimes Office to investigate the player for a possible violation of disability rights.
Photographers captured a group of dwarfs leaving Amin's eighteenth birthday party, and the Association of People with Dwarfism intervened and issued a statement on Monday morning saying that it condemns the use of dwarfs for entertainment purposes and threatens to take action against the organizers of the party.
The issue of Amin's use of dwarfs in the party, which was attended by Barcelona players in addition to a number of singers and celebrities around the world, quickly ignited. The Spanish newspaper "As" published a report on Monday evening about the request of the Ministry of Social Rights to the Public Prosecutor and the Anti-Hate Office to investigate the circumstances of the party due to a possible violation of the disability law, which prohibits producing shows that mock or belittle the disabled.
It continued: Amin's actions represent a violation of the law, and although the penalty does not amount to imprisonment, the government considers them serious crimes and the fines range from 600 thousand to one million euros.
Jesus Martin, the Director General for Disability Affairs in Spain, told the Spanish news agency "EFE": We are concerned that people who have money think they can escape punishment, but we will not stand idly by, and the Ministry of Social Rights will intervene and address this matter.
