Khaberni - Today, Saturday, the national jiu-jitsu team won a gold and a bronze medal on the second day of the Asian Championship, held at Prince Hamzah Hall in Al Hussein City for Youth.
Player Fawaz Haddadin succeeded in winning the gold medal in the over 94 kg category, and his teammate Mohammad Tajqa won the bronze medal in the same weight category.
Haddadin's victory for the gold medal came after winning three matches against: Palestinian Mohammad Hassan, Thai Konatip, and Indian Kumar Shoubham.
On his part, Tajqa started his participation by defeating Thai player Nitip Natdanai before losing to Kazakhstani player Aitmoldin Aristan, then moved on to compete for the bronze medal, which he won after three consecutive victories against Iraqi Mujtaba Al-Rubaiy, Syrian Ramadan Sameh, and Thai Konatip.
