Khaberni -Tell me - The social media platform "X" (formerly Twitter), owned by businessman Elon Musk, experienced a widespread global outage on Saturday.
According to the website "Down Detector," which specializes in tracking website outages, user reports began to rise sharply on Saturday.
In the United States alone, more than 25,000 users reported issues using the platform, many encountering an error message when trying to load new posts, stating "Something went wrong... Try reloading".
This incident comes at a delicate time for the company, which Elon Musk acquired in October 2022 for 44 billion US dollars, subsequently laying off about 80 percent of its workforce.
This is the second major technical crisis the platform has faced since the beginning of the year, as "X" previously experienced a sudden outage in March lasting about 30 minutes, which temporarily paralyzed interactions with posts and the sending of direct messages to users around the world.
