The Jordan Kuwait Bank celebrates the seventy-ninth Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with a diverse program of events and activities that reflect the spirit of the occasion, enhance national belonging, and solidify the Jordanian identity.
As part of the celebrations, the bank installed a 3-meter flagpole in front of the General Administration building, in accordance with the amended regulations for building and regulating cities and villages of 2025. The CEO of the bank, Mr. Haitham Al-Batayneh, raised the flag for the first time, after which this flagpole will be used for national occasions to enable citizens to celebrate.
To share the joy of the festival with customers, the bank distributed symbolic gifts in all branches, including chocolate pieces wrapped in the colors of the Jordanian flag and accompanied by a special Independence Day greeting card, in addition to the Jordanian flag. These unique gifts come from a home-based entrepreneurial project managed by two Jordanian women, in a step that emphasizes the bank's support and empowerment of Jordanian women and small projects.
Furthermore, the bank allocated a booth to serve "Mansaf in a Cup" to its employees and visitors in the General Administration building, in a gesture that reflects the authentic Jordanian hospitality and celebrates the national cuisine.
To create a special festive atmosphere at night, the General Administration building was illuminated in the colors of the Jordanian flag, with the national anthem broadcast through speakers in all its branches, expressing pride and loyalty to the homeland and its wise Hashemite leadership.
To confirm collective participation in this occasion, the bank circulated a directive to all its staff in branches to wear the authentic Jordanian shemagh, for taking commemorative photos that document these special national moments.
To engage the public more broadly in the celebrations, the bank launched a special contest on its official Instagram page, inviting followers to share photos of their Independence Day celebrations, which were posted via the stories feature on the bank's official pages. Afterwards, a draw will be conducted to select five winners, each of whom will have the chance to win 79 Jordanian dinars deposited in their digital wallet "Elli".
The CEO of the Jordan Kuwait Bank, Haitham Al-Batayneh, said: "Independence Day is a proud and dignifying milestone in the nation's building journey and its achievements under the wise Hashemite leadership. We at the Jordan Kuwait Bank take pride in being part of the Jordanian national fabric, and we are keen on sharing this national joy through activities that reflect values of belonging and celebration of the rich Jordanian heritage. Jordan deserves all our efforts to preserve its triumphant path towards further progress and prosperity."
The program of events of the Jordan Kuwait Bank on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day reaffirms the bank's commitment to its community role and its active participation in national occasions that enhance unity and belonging among the nation's people.
