Khaberni - Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee, Khaled Abu Hassan, has requested the Ministry of the Interior to cancel the prior approval requirement for Jordanians wishing to visit brotherly Syria.
Abu Hassan confirmed in a letter addressed to the Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, to study the possibility of extending the working hours of the "Jaber" border center around the clock due to the importance of increasing trade exchange and encouraging transit and movement between the two brotherly countries, especially in light of the return of security stability in Syria.
Abu Hassan emphasized the importance of reopening and operating the Ramtha border crossing to contribute to economic growth between the two countries, as it is one of the most important arteries that would alleviate the burden and pressure on the "Jaber" center.
Abu Hassan and the committee expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Ministry of Interior and the security forces working at the Jaber border center for their efforts in overcoming all obstacles facing the movement of travelers, as well as facilitating the crossing movement to brotherly Syria.
