Karate Team Begins Participation in Asian Championships on Friday

Khaberni - The national karate team will start its participation in the Asian Karate Championships for seniors, starting from Friday, which will be held in Uzbekistan with 29 countries participating.

The national team players aim to achieve notable results to qualify for the World Championships, noting that Jordanian karate has a history of achieving accomplishments in international tournaments.

Representing the national team in the Asian Championships are the athletes Abd al-Rahman Haymour, Lynn Haqrous (under 55 kg), Abdullah Hammad (under 60 kg), Noor Allah Nasser (under 61 kg), Abd al-Rahman Masa’tah (under 67 kg), Joud Dharoos (under 68 kg), Yara Nasser (above 68 kg), Saeed Al-Najjar (under 75 kg), Mohammad Al-Jafari (under 84 kg), Ahmad Shadid (above 84 kg).

Representing the national team in men's team kumite are Abd al-Rahman Masa’tah, Ahmad Shadid, Abdullah Hammad, Mohammad Al-Jafari, Saeed Al-Najjar, Afif Ghaith, and Amin Al-Maghribi, while representing the national team in women's team kumite are Noor Allah Nasser, Joud Dharoos, Yara Nasser, and Lynn Haqrous.

Participating in the Kata category is the player Fares Al-Awaisheh.
