According to what was observed by the site Khaberni, Al-Rimawi said that Palestinians forced to cross the bridge paid amounts up to 400 dinars for reservations through the platform and passage from Sheikh Hussein bridge.
Al-Rimawi claimed that a black market controls the movement of the platform, calling on both the Jordanian and Palestinian governments to intervene and stop the extortion of patients Khaberni and others who are unable to afford the expenses of staying in hotels.
