Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he had tasked the Department of Justice in his country to launch an investigation after his claim that oil companies had not reduced gasoline prices in accordance with the decrease in oil prices.
On the platform “Truth Social,” the U.S. President wrote: "The major oil companies are not reducing prices at fuel stations in line with the sharp decrease in the oil prices they buy… and I have ordered the Department of Justice to investigate this immediately".
Trump had announced on Tuesday that the United States would keep the Strait of Hormuz open and would stop its naval blockade, according to his claim because Iran is making concessions.
Yesterday, Trump wrote in a post on "Truth Social": "19 million barrels of oil flowed yesterday through the Strait of Hormuz, achieving a historic record high.. Oil prices are collapsing, and the world has become a much safer place!!!"
