Parliamentary sources anticipated the issuance of a royal decree to hold an extraordinary session of the Parliament after the Eid Al-Adha holiday at the end of this month.
The sources suggested to "Khaberni" that the royal decree for holding the session will proceed without the Social Security Bill, discussion of which has been halted in Parliament for amendments after marathon sessions by the Labor Committee during the previous regular session.
They noted the possibility of including the Local Administration Bill in the "extraordinary" alongside amendments to the law on the accreditation of higher education institutions and ensuring their quality, aligning with amendments that were made to the education and human resources development law passed by the Parliament during the previous regular session.
