Arsenals Gains in the UEFA Champions League Amount to 150 Million Euros

Khaberni - Media reports confirmed that Arsenal continued achieving significant financial returns from its participation in the UEFA Champions League.

The Łukasz Bączek account on X mentioned that after the "Gunners" reached the final by defeating Atlético Madrid 1-0 in the second-leg match, Arsenal secured an additional prize of 18.5 million euros, bringing their total prize sum to approximately 143.5 million euros, one of the highest financial returns in the history of the competition.

It was explained: "This significant figure reflects the scale of the sporting and economic progress that the club has achieved during its continental campaign, where advancing to later stages is not only a sporting achievement but also a primary source for enhancing the budget and increasing investment capacity in the transfer market and infrastructure."

It was added: "According to the financial data related to the tournament, winning the title in the final match would grant Arsenal an additional prize of about 6.5 million euros, raising the total potential returns to nearly 150 million euros, a record figure if achieved, and placing the club among the list of clubs that have benefited the most financially from a single edition of the UEFA Champions League."

It continued: "This financial performance comes under the new system of UEFA awards, which grants larger rewards to clubs based on performance and advancement in knockout stages, in addition to revenues from broadcasting and sponsorship, making the tournament more profitable than ever."

It was further stated: "Arsenal reaching this level of continental play marks a strong return of the club to the European stage, after years of absence from the critical stages, where the team has managed to combine stable technical performance and strong results that led it to the final, thereby enhancing its stature among the continent's elite."
