Khaberni - The Bahraini monarch, King Hamad bin Isa, stated that the sinful Iranian aggression which Bahrain faced, targeted its security, stability, and the safety of its people, revealed the falseness of those who sold their consciences to the enemy, stressing that the nation is above all, and that Bahrain is a trust placed on the shoulders of all its people.
This came in the first speech of the Bahraini monarch after previously announcing the opening of the citizenship file wide, where Bahrain recently took a sovereign security measure by reviewing the eligibility for citizenship in the latest corrective response to the situations of Bahraini nationality holders who committed acts under "high treason".
The Bahraini monarch added, "In moments when challenges converge upon nations, and when the mettle of men is tested, truths emerge clearly unmistakable," referring to "the ordeal that the nation went through revealed faces and dropped masks, when the Kingdom of Bahrain was subjected to a sinful Iranian aggression targeting its security, stability, and the safety of its people."
In related context, King of Bahrain emphasized that his country's forces are on full alert and "stationed at the front lines," to repel any treacherous assault, saying: "A few have sold their consciences to the enemy, extended a hand of cooperation with those who infringed upon the nation's sovereignty in betrayal beyond any betrayal, a crime that is unforgivable in the nations' customs and in the conscience of the peoples."
King Hamad bin Isa stressed that Iran must stop interfering in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf states, expressing great anger at what happened, affirming that his anger is but a sincere translation of the anger of the whole people, wondering, how could he not be angry when he sees those whom the nation entrusted with its resources stabbing it in the side, and those chosen by the people to represent them siding with traitors who were rejected by public opinion and whose heinous deed was denounced? according to Bahrain News Agency.
Meanwhile, King Hamad indicated that public opinion today stands united and with one voice, demanding the distancing of everyone who cooperated with the "sinful aggression," "for those who betrayed the nation do not deserve the honor of belonging to it, nor the generosity of living on its pure soil," highlighting that citizenship is not merely a document granted, but a covenant, and whoever breaches this covenant has forfeited their right by their own hands."
Regarding the legislative body, the Bahraini monarch expressed his regret for the alignment of some legislators with the traitors, instead of being a shield for the nation and a voice for the truth, emphasizing his commitment to the unity of the ranks and the purity of the parliamentary council, stating "whoever chose to stand with the aggressors against the nation, let them go to them and join them. There is no place among us for those who ally with our enemies."
He explained that all the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which share our fate and blood, strongly support the verdicts issued against the traitors, involving imprisonment, revocation, and loss of nationality, and are calling for more, asserting that these deterrent measures "are not out of vengeance but are mercy to the vast majority of the nation's people," and a safety valve preventing the necessity for the brave armed forces' leadership to take over under military law, necessitated by the defense needs of Bahrain.
King Hamad bin Isa emphasized that these legislators have only two choices; either to clearly apologize to the people of Bahrain, to restore confidence to its bridges, or else let them join those whom they have chosen to align with, those who have left the country and were distanced by a "fair judicial ruling as a result of notorious treason," according to his words.
