Khaberni - Jibril Rajoub, the president of the Palestinian Football Association, refused to shake hands with Basem Sheikh Suleiman, vice president of the Israeli Federation for the game, in a tense moment during the annual FIFA conference on Thursday.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino summoned both men to the platform, but Rajoub refused to shake hands with Suleiman, who is an Arab Israeli.
When asked what Rajoub said when he refused the handshake, Susan Shelbi, vice president of the Palestinian Federation for the game and who was present in the hall said, "I cannot shake hands with someone the Israelis brought to whitewash their fascism and genocide; we are suffering."
