Khaberni - Bloomberg agency reported, citing its sources, that the US Central Command "CENTCOM" requested the deployment of "Dark Eagle" hypersonic missiles to the Middle East for potential use against Iran.
CENTCOM justified its request by stating that Iran has moved its missile launch platforms beyond the range of the American ballistic Precision Strike Missiles, which have a range of about 500 km.
The sources added that the decision on deploying the hypersonic missiles has not yet been taken.
The agency noted that if the deployment of the missiles is approved, it would be the first deployment of American hypersonic missiles.
