Khaberni - It is expected that striker Mohamed Salah will return to play with Liverpool in the Premier League this football season, as the club announced on Wednesday that the muscle injury he sustained is not serious.
Salah had to leave the field in the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace due to what appeared to be an injury to his hamstring, which threatened to end his season and potentially his career at Anfield, as the Egyptian player is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Ibrahim Hassan, the director of the Egyptian national team, said that Salah's recovery from a hamstring tear would take four weeks, effectively ending his season before the World Cup, but the club confirmed it was a minor muscle injury.
The club stated in a statement: Liverpool Football Club confirms that Mohamed Salah is expected to be ready to play again before the end of this season. We have now confirmed that the issue that caused him to leave the field was a minor muscle injury. However, Salah is expected to return to the pitch before the end of the 2025-2026 season and leave the team this summer.
Salah, known as the Egyptian King, ranks third in Liverpool's top scorers list, with 257 goals in 440 matches.
