Princess Alia bint Al Hussein Meets the Director of Public Security and Honors Several Members of the Royal Administration for E

Khaberni  -  Her Highness Princess Alia bint Al Hussein visited the General Security Directorate today, Wednesday, and met its director, Major General Dr. Obaidallah Al-Maaytah.

The meeting discussed the directorate's efforts in various areas of work and specialization, particularly the role played by the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection in protecting the environment and nature and enhancing its sustainability.

Her Highness praised the distinctive efforts made by the directorate through the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection in environmental monitoring and wildlife protection, especially the protection of endangered migratory birds and combating poaching and environmental assaults, as well as its role in spreading environmental culture and enhancing community awareness of the importance of preserving the environment.

Her Highness emphasized the importance of integrating national and institutional efforts to address environmental challenges, pointing out that protecting the environment and wildlife is a national responsibility that requires the cooperation of all institutions and individuals to preserve the natural heritage for future generations.

On his part, the Director of Public Security confirmed that the directorate continues to implement its environmental and awareness plans and programs according to a participatory approach with various national institutions, which enhances the protection of natural resources and biodiversity, and the conservation of the environment and its protection, preventing any encroachment on it and enforcing environmental laws to achieve national visions aimed at preserving the environment and its natural components.

He referred to the additional measures taken by the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection to monitor cyberspace and detect any environmental violations and take action regarding them.

On the sidelines of the visit, Her Highness honored several members of the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection, in recognition of their excellence and efforts in protecting the environment, nature, and wildlife, and their active role in implementing environmental, awareness, and monitoring campaigns across the kingdom.
