Khaberni - In the context of its ongoing approach to empower young women and men in the Kingdom, Orange Jordan announced its sponsorship for the "Arab Future Programmers" competition in its fifteenth edition. The College of Information Technology at the Applied Sciences University organized the initiative supported by Queen Rania Al Abdullah Center for Educational and Information Technology, to enhance academic competition and develop students' skills in the field of information technology in general, and computer programming in particular.
Since its launch in 2012, this annual scientific competition continues to support students in public and private schools in Jordan and around the Arab world, to highlight and nurture the new generation of talented programmers, from ninth grade up to high school.
Orange Jordan confirmed that its sponsorship of this competition is part of its ongoing efforts to stimulate the creative capabilities of Jordanian youth in various digital fields and provide them with tools that enable them to excel, as well as reflects its commitment to turning positively impactful ideas into tangible realities that contribute to supporting the digital transformation journey in the Kingdom and empowering youth.
It is noted that the top ten winners of the competition will receive various scholarships offered by the university. Also, a regional version of this local initiative will be held at a later stage, to continue providing opportunities and encouraging ambitious and innovative youth.
