Khaberni - The Minister of the Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, has agreed to allow administrative governors to complete the release procedures for (418) administrative detainees.
This decision comes as part of ongoing measures taken by the ministry, aimed at giving the released individuals the opportunity to reintegrate into society, enhancing their chances for rehabilitation, and enabling them to resume their normal lives among their families and community. This follows a review of their files and the nature of their cases, and the satisfaction with the duration of their detention.
This decision also reinforces the ministry's humanitarian approach in dealing with administrative detention, in accordance with the guarantees provided in the law, while also considering the legal and security controls to restrict the criminal activities of dangerous individuals.
