He reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to overcoming challenges facing the industrial sector, noting the stability of supply chains during past crises and the availability of production inputs, in addition to the national factories' ability to cover about 80 percent of the local market needs, a percentage that reflects the strength of the Jordanian industry.

He highlighted the importance of strategic projects being implemented, among them the national carrier project using locally manufactured pipes, which enhances reliance on the national product and supports the local economy.

The meeting addressed the situation of the veterinary pharmaceuticals and pesticides industry sectors, where the main challenges related to production costs, raw material availability, and supply chains were reviewed.

For his part, Fathi Jaghbeer, president of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, praised the Cabinet's decision to approve the disbursement of dues to 72 industrial facilities for the value of their export support, stressing the importance of addressing challenges facing vital industrial sectors, which enhances their competitive ability and increases their contribution to the national economy.

Meanwhile, Fadi Atrash, representative of the therapeutic industries and medical supplies sector in the Jordan Chamber of Industry, explained that the veterinary pharmaceutical industry in Jordan is one of the oldest Arab industries, with about 25 factories in this sector alongside the agricultural pesticides industry, employing approximately 1,500 workers, while the sector's exports have reached more than 35 countries worldwide.

Atrash added that veterinary pharmaceutical exports grew by 6.7 percent in 2025, with an increase of 5.6 million dinars compared to 2024, reflecting the sector's development and its ability to expand in global markets.
