Khaberni - The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization confirmed that the only entity authorized to carry the name “Charity Clothes Bank” in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is its official program, denying that there are any other legally or officially recognized entities carrying this name.
This clarification comes in light of detecting the circulation of news and media materials recently that carry the name “Charity Clothes Bank” issued by unaccredited entities, which necessitated alerting the media and the public to the need for accuracy and verification of information sources.
The organization called on all media agencies not to publish or recirculate any content associated with the name “Charity Clothes Bank” before verifying its accuracy through its Communications and Media Department, considering it the only official reference for issuing news related to this program.
The organization emphasized that verifying news sources not only ensures the accuracy of the content published but also contributes to protecting the credibility of humanitarian work in the Kingdom, and prevents any confusion that may negatively impact institutional efforts in this field.
