Khaberni - For the fifth consecutive year, the "Inspiring Change" award, launched by Orange Jordan in conjunction with International Women's Day, with support from Capital Bank and in collaboration with the Information Technology and Communication Companies Association (Intaj), under the umbrella of the Women Empowerment Unit (SHETECHS), empowers women entrepreneurs, where since its launch, 13 female entrepreneurs have won.
In the 2026 edition, the judging panel during the second stage listened to the success stories of 10 female entrepreneurs in the technology sector, among 56 projects registered for the competition, in preparation for selecting three winning projects in the final stage, along with a new category for sustainable solutions, with the winners to be honored at the beginning of May.
The judging panel also includes a selection of leadership figures, represented by the Chairperson of the Jordan Duty-Free Shops, Her Excellency Khaloud Al-Saqqaf, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Capital Bank, Tulin Barto, the CEO and Co-founder of the Jordanian Women Business and Professional Club Association, Thana Al-Khasawneh, the Deputy Executive Director at Jobak, Liana Al-Oraykat, and the Executive Director of Corporate Communications, Internal Communications and Sustainability at Orange Jordan, Engineer Rana Al-Dabbas.
The participation criteria include that the applicant must be a founder or co-founder owning at least 50%, or a CEO or a senior manager in an active startup, with women representation of at least 25%, and that the company must be registered in Jordan and have a positive impact on society and environment, and be in alignment with sustainable development goals, and a digital innovative company capable of growth and continuity. The selection of the winners, after a precise and comprehensive evaluation process, is based on these criteria, along with the impact of the projects and their scalability and sustainability.
