Khaberni - Today, Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan decided in an official notice he issued, to suspend the official working hours of ministries, official departments, public institutions and organizations, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, Greater Amman Municipality, and companies wholly owned by the government on Monday corresponding to the 25th of the upcoming May, in celebration of the Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In another notice issued today, the Prime Minister also decided to set the holiday for Eid al-Adha from the morning of Tuesday corresponding to the 26th of the upcoming May until the evening of Saturday corresponding to the 30th of May.
Exempted from the holiday, according to the notices, are ministries, official departments, and institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
