AlSamadi as President of the European Chamber of Commerce in Jordan

Khaberni - The new administrative body of the EuroCham Jordan selected Engineer Mohammad Hassan Al-Samadi as its president for the term 2026-2029.
Also, Engineer Ahmad Adnan Al-Salakh was chosen as the Vice President, Engineer Bilal Shawar as the treasurer, Dr. Anwar Obeidat as the secretary-general, and Ayman Al-Rifai, Raed Al-Baytar, and Mohammad Ali Al-Quraiuty as members.

Engineer Al-Samadi said that the new council's formation comes at a time when there is a growing national focus on enhancing economic growth, attracting investments, and expanding exports within the targets of the economic modernization vision.

He added that the European Union countries constitute a major economic partner for Jordan in terms of trade, investment, expertise transfer, and technology, noting that the Jordanian-European summit held in the kingdom at the beginning of this year represents an important milestone for enhancing strategic dialogue between the two sides.

He highlighted that the increase in the kingdom's exports to the European Union countries during the first month of this year by 54.3 percent is a positive indicator that reflects the improved competitiveness of the Jordanian product and the increasing benefits from the agreements signed.

Al-Samadi emphasized that King Abdullah II's efforts had a fundamental role in enhancing trade and investment cooperation and opening broader prospects for Jordanian products to strengthen their presence in the markets of the European Union countries, which are a major economic partner for Jordan.

He pointed out that the chamber will play a pivotal role in supporting the connection between the Jordanian private sector and its counterparts in the European Union, facilitating trade and investment flows, and aligning with the depth of the Jordanian-European partnership, and supporting the King’s efforts in enhancing the kingdom’s strategic relations with European Union countries, especially economically.

He mentioned that enhancing the entry of Jordanian products into European Union countries forms one of the vital paths for export growth, requiring the expansion of partnerships with the European private sector and enacting technical and commercial cooperation programs to ensure continued growth and achieve more ambitious results in the coming period.

Al-Samadi confirmed that the chamber is committed to enhancing its role and providing tangible value to its members and the business environment in the kingdom, in line with the objectives of the European-Jordanian partnership and the economic modernization vision.

It is worth mentioning that the General Assembly of the chamber, during its regular twenty-eighth meeting held today, Sunday, approved the administrative and financial reports on the operations of its board of directors for the previous year 2025 and delegated the new board to appoint an auditor after reaching the legal quorum.
It should be noted that the European Chamber of Commerce in Jordan was launched in the second half of last year 2025, marking three decades of work within the Jordanian European Business Association (JEBA), to be an independent organization representing the interests of European and Jordan-oriented Jordanian companies in the kingdom.
The chamber works to enhance bilateral trade and investment within the framework of the European-Jordanian partnership agreement, in addition to building effective dialogue bridges between the private sector and decision-makers at the national and European levels.
