Khaberni - Iranian President Masoud Bezshkiyan considers his country's main enemy to be "America and Zionism," accusing them of seeking to incite discord among Muslims, and calling for overcoming internal disagreements and not to display them at this stage.
In a speech during a meeting of the Iranian Cabinet, the Iranian President urged to enhance cooperation among regional countries, warning that targeting will not be limited to Iran, but may extend to other countries such as Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.
Bezshkiyan praised the positions of some neighboring countries, appreciating the cooperation provided by Afghanistan, especially in the water sector, in addition to cooperation from Pakistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and Turkey in facing what he described as attempts to incite conflicts, confirming that this coordination has contributed to thwarting plans aimed at destabilizing internal stability.
He called for the investment of this regional cooperation, warning against being dragged behind external schemes, and asking the Iranian people to continue their support and solidarity, especially in difficult circumstances where some may lose family members.
Bezshkiyan affirmed that his country continues to manage its internal crises despite escalating pressures, emphasizing that the cohesion of the internal front and the role of the people form the fundamental basis for facing challenges. He stated that the entire burden and effort rest on the shoulders of those working in the field, considering that public satisfaction in these circumstances is a great source of pride, especially at a time when the world is facing prolonged crises from Europe to the Americas and Africa.
He pointed out that managing the situation inside Iran is proceeding in a way that makes citizens not feel the burden of war as expected, attributing this to the efforts of officials, especially the governors, ministers, and the Ministry of the Interior.
Facing external challenges
He explained that the presence of the people in the field was the key to security and enthusiasm, asserting that Iranians have proven that they will not succumb to threats or pressures, and that they stand united despite their ethnic and cultural diversity, facing what he described as external challenges.
The Iranian President stressed the necessity of internalizing the belief in the country's ability to manage with dignity and pride, warning that defeat does not come from external pressures as much as it comes from closed minds and monopoly of opinion, calling for openness and cooperation instead of imposing a single viewpoint.
In economic terms, Bezshkiyan urged citizens to participate in managing energy consumption, particularly gas, electricity, and fuel, highlighting the importance of not cutting supplies to the industrial sector. He affirmed that the unity of the people and their cohesion prevent the imposition of surrender, warning against classifying society into "us" and "not us," and stressing that all Iranians stand by their country.
Bezshkiyan addressed what he described as "arrogance" in dealing with regional issues, criticizing what he considered the duplicity in describing those who defend their lands, and emphasizing the right of peoples to defend themselves.
The Iranian President assured that the government will do everything in its power to serve the citizens, calling on official media to support the efforts of awareness and cooperation to avoid energy crises in summer and winter, and to maintain production continuity.
He also expressed appreciation for the role of the leadership and the armed forces, including the Revolutionary Guard, the Basij, the Army, and security forces, praising what he described as "their sacrifices and dedication" in protecting the country.
