Khaberni - The Economic Court in Cairo is preparing to issue its verdict, during the session next Monday, in the case involving the ex-husband of singer Rahma Mohsen, based on allegations related to harassing her via social media and the invasion of her privacy.
The defense lawyer, Mahmoud El-Sheshtawy, stated that his team presented official documents in the complaint, which include threatening messages from the accused, in which he demanded his client pay 3 million Egyptian pounds to prevent the publication of that material.
He noted that the Public Prosecution commenced investigations immediately upon receiving the complaint, and necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, as well as pursuing anyone proven involved in the circulation or posting of offensive content on digital platforms.
The defense affirmed that the artist trusts in the justice of the Egyptian judiciary to reclaim her rights and hold those responsible for this incident accountable, which has caused widespread controversy on social media.
