Umniah a company of Beyon makes Earth Day impactful through a volunteer initiative to protect the environment in Ajloun in col

Khaberni – In a step reflecting its practical commitment to sustainability, Umniah, one of Beyon’s companies and rated the best mobile network in Jordan, organized a volunteer event on the occasion of Earth Day, bringing together its employees in a field experience aimed at making a real difference in the local environment.

This initiative was carried out in cooperation with the Princess Taghreed Institute for Development and Training, where a number of Umniah employees participated in a forest cleaning activity in Kufranja, Ajloun Governorate, one of the most significant natural spaces in the Kingdom, in a volunteer experience that focused on direct fieldwork and enhancing environmental awareness through practice.

This initiative aligns with the national directives led by His Majesty King Abdullah II and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, which place environmental conservation at the core of strategic priorities, viewing it as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development, and a shared responsibility requiring the efforts of both institutions and individuals.

Moreover, this initiative is not limited to the environmental aspect only, but also extends to reflect Umniah’s vision in empowering its employees to be an active part of the community change, through initiatives that create a lasting impact and enhance the culture of responsibility and belonging.

This comes at a time when Umniah continues to enhance its performance in the communications sector, where it was rated as the best mobile network in Jordan by Ookla, the global leader in communications intelligence, known for its "Speedtest" platform, for the second half of 2025, based on an independent analysis of over 23 million data points reflecting the actual user experience across the Kingdom, reflecting the strength and consistency of its network services quality.

In this context, Dina Dawood, the Executive Director of Brand and Corporate Communications at Umniah, said:
