Cairo Amman Bank and Tafila Technical University Renew Agreement to Convert University ID into a Smart Card

Khaberni  -  Cairo Amman Bank has renewed its cooperation agreement with Tafila Technical University to convert the university ID into a multipurpose smart card.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the bank by the Head of the Private Banking and Business Services Group, Maha Abbabneh, and on behalf of the university by its President, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Shalabi, along with a number of senior officials from both the university and the bank.

The smart card serves as an identification for university students and enables its users to benefit from a range of advanced financial and electronic services including cash withdrawals, payments via point of sale devices, and online shopping. It can also be used as an entry card to various university facilities, for paying tuition fees, and the smart card provides its holders with the opportunity to benefit from discounts and special offers within a wide network of retail stores.

This collaboration positively supports the efforts of Cairo Amman Bank and the university in developing the level of university services provided to its students and the academic and administrative staff, in enhancing cooperation with local community institutions and exchanging experiences with them, thus contributing to the development and improvement of services provided on both sides.

It is noted that the multipurpose smart university card represents an important step towards enabling students to benefit from modern and secure banking services, enhancing their university experience, and developing their skills in dealing with modern financial technologies.
