Khaberni - French President Emmanuel Macron announced today, Wednesday, the death of a second French soldier from the temporary peacekeeping forces of the United Nations UNIFIL, succumbing to his injuries after being wounded in southern Lebanon.
According to France 24, Macron said via the X platform that the soldier, who was transferred to France the day before yesterday, Monday, after being seriously injured in Lebanon, "died this morning due to his wounds."
