Khaberni - The Permanent Representative of Jordan to the Arab League, Ambassador Amjad Al-Odayleh, on Wednesday at the headquarters of the League, chaired the Arab coordination meeting at the delegate level to discuss the preparations for holding the sixth Arab-European ministerial meeting, which Jordan will host on June 22nd.
The permanent delegates of the Arab countries were updated during the meeting, attended by the Assistant Secretary-General, Head of the International Political Affairs Department, Ambassador Khaled Manzlawi, on the latest developments in preparations for the sixth Arab-European ministerial meeting, and discussed the declaration planned to be adopted.
The Arab League stated in a declaration after the coordination meeting that holding the Arab-European ministerial meeting in Jordan comes at a very important time, in light of the political developments and increasing challenges on the regional and international scenes, which require intensified coordination and united efforts to address them.
Manzlawi expressed anticipation for the sixth Arab-European ministerial meeting, which comes after a seven-year hiatus since the last session; reflecting the commitment of both the Arab and European sides to maintain dialogue tracks and enhance joint cooperation.
