Khaberni - Chelsea Football Club has announced the dismissal of Liam Rosenior from his position as technical director, following a decline in team results recently.
Chelsea stated in an official statement that it has decided to terminate the contract with Rosenior, who took over the team's coaching in January, following the departure of Italian Enzo Maresca.
The London club added in its statement: "On behalf of all those associated with Chelsea FC, we extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Liam and his team for their efforts during their tenure with the club."
It explained: "Liam has always demonstrated the highest levels of integrity and professionalism since his mid-season appointment."
It continued: "This decision was not an easy one for the club, yet the recent results and performances did not rise to the required level, and there is still much we need to achieve this season.. Everyone at Chelsea FC wishes Liam all the best and success in the future."
It went on: "Callum McFarlane will take over as interim coach until the end of the season, supported by the current technical and administrative staff, in our quest to qualify for European competitions and make progress in the FA Cup."
It concluded: "While the club works on stabilizing the head coach position, we will conduct a comprehensive evaluation process to select the most suitable coach for the long term."
Chelsea's decision comes after the team suffered 5 consecutive defeats in the English Premier League "Premier League" without scoring any goals, the last of which was a 0-3 loss to Brighton (Tuesday) in round 34.
