AlIssawi inaugurates and inspects projects within the Royal Initiatives in Ajloun

Khaberni - In the context of the continuous and intensive field follow-up of the high royal initiatives projects in different governorates of the kingdom, Youssef Hassan Al-Issawi, head of the committee for following up on the execution of His Majesty the King's initiatives, on Wednesday took a field tour in Ajloun governorate, which included inaugurating and inspecting a number of royal initiatives projects.

The establishment of these projects comes in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II during his field visits and communicative meetings with the residents of the governorate, aiming to elevate the service and living conditions.

Al-Issawi began his tour, attended by the Governor of Ajloun Nayef Al-Haddayat and the executive director of Zaha Cultural Center Rania Subaih and the head of the municipal committee of Al-Ayoun Zuhair Abu Z'arour, by opening the multipurpose hall in Osra area which was established to provide a suitable and equipped place to serve the local community members in their various occasions and host social, cultural events, national celebrations and more, as the people of the area were facing difficulties and financial burdens due to the lack of such halls, which forced them to rent halls outside the area or prepare other suitable locations for these activities and occasions.

Al-Issawi toured the facilities of the hall, which belongs to Al-Ayoun municipality, and reviewed the equipment and furniture provided, emphasizing the necessity of ensuring its sustainability so that it remains available to everyone according to the purpose and objectives for which it was established.

In the same area, Al-Issawi inaugurated the adjacent five-a-side football field, which was established through the royal initiatives concurrently with the hall building, aiming to serve the youth sector in the area, affirming the importance of these facilities in nurturing young talents and providing safe sporting environments.

For their part, the local residents expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty Abdullah II, valuing the initiative that represents a significant milestone in serving the residents of the area in various fields, as they named it Hall "Al-Wafa" out of their appreciation and loyalty to His Majesty, noting that the royal initiatives have become luminous milestones in various governorates of the kingdom.

They offered congratulations and blessings to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, on Flag Day and all national occasions.

In the area of Kafranjah, emphasizing the importance of providing suitable housing for the most needy families, Al-Issawi, accompanied by the Governor of Ajloun, inspected the progress of the work on the project to build homes for needy families, which is being implemented as part of a project to construct 17 housing units through the royal initiatives spread across several areas in the governorate according to the priorities of the Ministry of Social Development.

During the tour inside the project facilities, Al-Issawi reviewed the progress and completion rates, which reached about 80 percent, emphasizing the need to hasten their completion to ensure these homes are delivered to their deserving recipients on time, in execution of the lofty royal vision that places the dignity of the citizen and improving his living standard above all considerations. It should be noted that in 2022, it was announced that 1300 new housing units would be built in various governorates and rural areas, including 100 housing units in Ajloun governorate, being executed in several phases.

The head of the Royal Court concluded his tour in the Anjara area by inspecting the maintenance, rehabilitation, and furnishing projects of the buildings belonging to the "Church of Our Lady of the Mountain" and "Mary's House of Hope for Orphans Shelter", which are being executed under direct royal directives.

Al-Issawi received detailed explanations about the construction works and comprehensive maintenance that these facilities underwent, and the completion rates, affirming that the royal initiatives pay special attention to religious sites, especially as the Church of our Lady of the Mountain is considered one of the accredited Christian pilgrimage sites globally; reinforcing its status as a strategic center for religious tourism on the local and international map, and a comprehensive spiritual destination that attracts visitors from around the world, as well as its humanitarian and social role in serving the local community.

In press statements, Al-Issawi confirmed that the inauguration and inspection of these projects today in Ajloun come in execution of the lofty royal directives, and a direct response to the demands and priorities of the citizens that were presented during the communicative meetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II with the residents of the governorate.

He explained that these projects primarily aim to elevate the level of quality services provided to the citizens, pointing out that the processes of study and execution are carried out in coordinated integration with the concerned national institutions, ensuring their alignment with comprehensive development plans.
