Khaberni - Arab Bank has renewed its cooperation agreement with the Jordanian Air Ambulance Center, aimed at supporting the center's operational mechanisms and contributing to raising the level of medical services provided in the kingdom. The renewal of the agreement is part of the bank's corporate social responsibility and stems from its belief in the vital role the center plays in the field of air ambulance for emergency medical situations, transporting patients from various regions of the kingdom, including remote and distant areas, to specialized hospitals.
Under this agreement with the center, the support of Arab Bank, which began in 2016, will continue with the aim of enabling the center to provide air ambulance services related to the transportation of injured and sick individuals by air from remote areas to specialized medical centers, through evacuation, rescue, and airborne medical aid operations, thus contributing to a faster response to emergencies and ensuring necessary treatments are received in a timely manner.
The CEO of the Jordanian Air Ambulance Center, Colonel Pilot Ahmad Marwan Watad, praised the sustainable strategic cooperation between the center and Arab Bank, emphasizing that it represents a model of role integration between national institutions and the private sector. Colonel Watad explained that renewing this cooperation reflects the commitment of both parties to develop the medical and ambulance system in the kingdom, pointing out that the continuous support from Arab Bank for over ten years has had a significant impact on the sustainability of humanitarian services, expanding the beneficiary base, and ultimately saving the lives of citizens in critical and emergency situations.
It is worth mentioning that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in terms of sustainability and corporate social responsibility, reflecting the bank's pursuit to consolidate its economic, social, and environmental impact by continuously working with various community stakeholders towards achieving sustainable development. The Arab Bank program for social responsibility "Together" is one of the fruits of this orientation, focusing on developing and nurturing various aspects of the community through diverse initiatives and activities that serve several sectors including health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women's empowerment.
