Amman Arab University launches the Bridges of Knowledge initiative to enhance communication with schools

Khaberni - In an effort to bolster its community presence and solidify its interactive role in the educational environment, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University implemented a unique initiative titled: "Bridges of Knowledge: University-School Partnership for Future Building," through two field visits to Abu Nusair Secondary School and Mobes Secondary School.

During the visit, Dr. Fatima Kassab Al-Khalidi, head of the Department of Basic Human and Scientific Sciences, presented a comprehensive introductory presentation about the university and its colleges, discussing its educational environment and academic programs, alongside an introduction to the academic departments at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Iman Bassam, head of the Mathematics Department, gave a presentation on the department and its academic programs, while Dr. Raida Ammari and Professor Salam Darwish showcased the English Language Department and the unique educational opportunities it offers. In turn, Professor Tareq Warikat introduced the Department of Basic Sciences, highlighting its role in developing comprehensive university skills among students.

As part of conveying the real student experience, several students from the Department of Mathematics presented their academic experiences at Amman Arab University, reflecting a vivid picture of the university environment. They also offered interactive and entertaining segments that enjoyed notable engagement from the students of both schools. The visits also included the distribution of informational materials and symbolic gifts, alongside meetings with school administrations and teaching staff. During these meetings, the commitment of the university to establish sustainable educational partnerships and serve the local community was emphasized, with an invitation extended for organizing student visits to the campus and exploring opportunities for cooperation in training and qualification fields. The visits were characterized by active participation from faculty members and college students, implementing a comprehensive program that reflected the university’s academic mission and highlighted the diversity of its specializations.

The visits concluded with the taking of memorial photos that reflected the positive interactive spirit among the attendees, amid aspirations for the continuation of such unique initiatives that enhance communication bridges between Amman Arab University and its educational surroundings, and affirm its role as an active academic institution in serving the community.
