Khaberni - If the "Instagram" platform has recently turned your colored posts into black and white, there's no need to worry; the problem is not in your camera or in your account.
The platform owned by "Meta" confirmed to Engadget that the issue is due to a software bug, particularly affecting HDR images.
"Instagram" stated in a release: "Earlier today, a technical issue caused some HDR photos to appear incorrectly in black and white for a segment of accounts."
There were complaints on April 18 and 19, indicating that the issue lasted slightly longer for some users.
Regardless of when the bug began causing problems, the "Instagram" team has confirmed that the issue has been fixed since then. If your posts still appear in black and white, "Instagram" confirmed that the fix will automatically revert affected photo posts to their original state in the upcoming few hours. They added: "We apologize for any inconvenience."
