Khaberni - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar called on Lebanon on Wednesday, to cooperate and make joint efforts to confront Hezbollah on the eve of anticipated talks between them in Washington.
Saar said in a speech to diplomats during an event marking the seventy-eighth anniversary of Israel's "independence": "Tomorrow, direct talks between Israel and Lebanon will resume in Washington D.C., I call on the Lebanese government to cooperate against the state of terrorism built by Hezbollah on your land."
He added: "This cooperation is required more from your side than from ours. It requires moral clarity and the courage to take risks. However, there is no real alternative to ensure a future of peace for both of us."
