Khaberni - The government has completed 8 projects from its executive program for the Economic Modernization Vision (2026-2029) until the end of the first quarter of the current year, out of a total of 393 projects, representing about 2% of the total projects included in the program.
According to work progress data, the number of projects under implementation is 334, representing the majority of the total program which counts 85%, while 49 projects have not yet started.
The data showed two projects are delayed relative to the timeline, representing nearly 0.5% of the total projects.
In Jordan as a global destination engine, the government has completed one priority, is currently working on implementing 27 priorities, and has not yet started implementing 3 priorities. Within the investment engine, 12 priorities are under implementation, one priority has yet to be started, and one priority is delayed.
In the future service engine, the government has completed 4 priorities, is working on 99 ongoing priorities, and has not yet started 21 priorities, in addition to one delayed priority.
The government is currently implementing 43 priorities (under execution) in the entrepreneurship and innovation engine, while it has yet to start 12 priorities, and is working on 59 priorities (under execution) in the high-value industries engine, and has not yet started 11 priorities.
In the (quality of life) engine, the government has completed 3 priorities while it is working on implementing 56 other priorities, and 15 priorities have not started. In the (sustainable resources) engine, the government is implementing 36 priorities (under implementation) and has not started two priorities, while 26 priorities are being implemented in the (sustainable environment) engine and 8 priorities have not yet begun in the same engine.
In the draft General Budget Law for the year 2026, the government has allocated about 396 million dinars to implement the programs of the Economic Modernization Vision, which have been underway since its launch at the end of 2022.
